AquaVoda are proud to be the exclusive agent for the Cembrane technology for Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
With over 260 installations globally, Cembrane Silicon Carbide membranes are changing the landscape when it comes to potable, wastewater and process applications. With plants ranging from a few thousand litres a day to plants of over 100 MLD, Cembrane is rapidly becoming the membrane of choice.
Whether the source is groundwater, surface water or seawater, Cembrane carries full NSF certification, giving you complete confidence that the water quality produced will meet your health-based targets. Comprehensive, independent LRV test certificates are available on request.
Whether recycling washwater from a mine, recycling treated effluent for irrigation, or recovering abattoir wastewater for cleaning down surfaces, these robust membranes operate at extremely high recovery rates, allowing you to turn a waste stream into a valuable resource.
Water is far too precious to waste and Cembrane systems are being deployed across the World for recovery of backwash water from media filters, carbon filters, greensand media filters and others. Often recovering over 90% of the backwash water that would otherwise go to waste, these membranes can boost overall plant recovery to over 99%.
Used in conjunction with powdered activated carbon (PAC), these membranes can reduce PFAS to non-detectable levels whilst also removing harmful microorganisms in a single step. The unique combination of SiC membranes and PAC produces an extremely small volume of concentrated waste material, drastically reducing opex and environmental footprint.
Filtering down to 0.1 micron, these membranes produce a permeate with extremely low SDI values, protecting your RO membranes from particulate and biological fouling. Well protected RO membranes last longer and perform better, saving you significant opex and reducing plant downtime.
Silicon Carbide is an extremely robust material and is not prone to failure with high chemical contact. By strongly oxidising the feed with KMnO4, Chlorine or Ozone, Iron and Manganese can be oxidised ahead of the membrane with the oxidised material being removed completely from the feed stream.
Our technology is specifically selected to deal with our regions harsh and extreme environment.
Cheap is not always cheap. We select the highest quality technologies to reduce total cost of ownership for both capex and opex.
Water is too precious to waste, so we select technologies that will allow you to recover the maximum amount of feedwater possible.
Solving any water treatment problem requires power, but we select technologies that will do the job, but with minimal environmental footprint.
Low chemical usage not only saves on opex, it also reduces capex for safe storage and can also drastically reduce operator interaction with chemicals, thereby making the systems safer.
All of our technologies have to meet the highest standards for safety, not only for the operators, but also for the users of the treated water produced.
By reducing the technology footprint, we help reduce the plant footprint, drastically reducing civil costs along the way.
By selecting robust technologies with extremely low replacement costs, we minimise the impact on waste management facilities.
